Cookie Policy
TerraSpatial operates without tracking cookies, advertising pixels, or third-party profiling mechanisms.
1. What Are Cookies?
Cookies are small text files placed on your device by websites to store state information, recognize return visits, or monitor online behavior. Web applications commonly classify cookies into essential functional cookies, analytical performance cookies, and behavioral advertising cookies.
2. Our Strict Zero-Tracking Policy
TerraSpatial does not set, read, or distribute any tracking, targeting, advertising, or profiling cookies.
Specifically:
- We do not employ third-party advertising cookies to serve retargeted advertisements.
- We do not utilize analytical cookies (such as Google Analytics or Adobe Analytics) to track page views or session durations.
- We do not integrate social media tracking pixels (such as Meta Pixel or LinkedIn Insight Tag) that monitor cross-site browsing.
Because we do not set non-essential cookies, you will not encounter intrusive cookie consent banners or consent popups when accessing our tools.
3. Local Browser Storage & Cache
To deliver seamless offline operation and rapid re-calculation, the application relies exclusively on standard client-side browser storage mechanisms:
- HTTP Browser Cache: Your web browser caches our static CSS stylesheet, SVG icons, and JavaScript calculation engines so that subsequent page visits load instantaneously without repeated network requests.
- DOM Volatile Memory: Calculation inputs (such as latitude, longitude, and roof areas) reside strictly in volatile browser RAM. Closing the browser tab immediately purges all input data from memory.
4. How to Manage or Disable Storage
You have complete control over all data stored on your computer. You can configure your browser to reject cookies, purge cached files, or block local storage through your browser settings:
- Google Chrome: Settings > Privacy and security > Delete browsing data > Cached images and files.
- Mozilla Firefox: Settings > Privacy & Security > Cookies and Site Data > Clear Data.
- Apple Safari: Preferences > Privacy > Manage Website Data.
- Microsoft Edge: Settings > Privacy, search, and services > Clear browsing data.
Because TerraSpatial requires zero server-side cookies, disabling cookies in your browser settings will not degrade or restrict the functionality of any calculator on this platform.
